Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Louisville, KY

Your Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Regional Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting for four locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support our Plumbing/HVAC/Sewer/Electrical Businesses


• Ownership of weekly payroll submissions and reconciliation


• Daily cash reconciliation and associated journal entries


• Balance sheet analysis as part of the monthly reporting package


• Prepare detailed budget variance analysis


• Analyze and research revenue accounting matters


• Provide accurate documentation of issues identified and resolutions reached


• Work with the Controller to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and system management


• Collaborate with finance departments and operations to understand processes

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Accounting Department as needed


• Assist and coordinate with the department on month-end close, quarterly reporting, and regular training

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant pronouncements


• Advanced analytical skills including proficiency in Excel and relevant technology


• Team player with excellent communication skills

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting required


• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting department with increased job responsibility
