Essential Job Functions:

  • Arrive on time at scheduled job sites and relocate between sites as dispatched throughout the workday.
  • Operate and maintain a clean, stocked company vehicle. Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors or dispatchers and complete tasks promptly.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial equipment, educating customers on repair and replacement options, and completing approved service repairs.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on a wide variety of residential and light commercial equipment independently.
  • Apply knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles, read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints, and use service tools and testing devices effectively.
  • Provide customers with information on new or renewal maintenance agreements and acquire residential planned maintenance agreements.
  • Inform and educate customers on additional products or services offered by the company and follow company guidelines when discussing replacement options.
  • Be available for a staggered schedule and on-call status for emergency services as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • EPA Universal
  • NATE Certification Preferred
  • TDLR Registration
