Master Trades Group is a private-equity-backed residential services platform operating 12+ trusted local Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical brands across multiple states. Our brands share one mission: to deliver same-day, expert service rooted in trust, professionalism, and community reputation.
We are seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to architect, scale, and elevate our brand strategy across the platform. This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic builder who can think big and execute locally—driving brand differentiation, creative excellence, and measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Brand Positioning & Architecture
- Define and maintain a unified brand architecture and clear value proposition across all markets.
- Develop differentiated brand positioning and messaging frameworks that cut through industry sameness.
- Build and execute annual brand plans aligned with data-driven revenue and value-creation goals.
Local Market Connectivity
- Translate platform strategy into breakthrough, localized execution that builds connection and relevance.
- Coach Branch Managers and local teams to deliver consistent, high-quality brand representation.
- Ensure all brands show up authentically in their communities while benefiting from shared creative systems.
Media & Investment Strategy
- Oversee brand media planning and spend across broadcast, OTT, radio, outdoor, social, and experiential channels.
- Partner with agencies to deploy media mix modeling (MMM) and testing frameworks that improve ROMI.
- Ensure brand investments drive measurable outcomes—share of voice, branded search, inbound volume, and awareness lift.
Creative Excellence & Content
- Lead creative direction that builds emotional connection, communicates value, and earns trust.
- Develop scalable creative systems and asset libraries for use across all operating brands.
- Manage internal and external creative partners with urgency, clarity, and focus on quality.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with performance marketing, CRM, call center operations, and local market leaders.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing to attract high-quality field talent.
- Represent brand strategy in strategic planning sessions, leadership presentations, and quarterly reviews.

What You Bring
- 8–12+ years in brand leadership roles (multi-location, franchise, or local service category preferred).
- Proven ability to build and deploy brand systems across diverse markets.
- Experience with MMM, brand tracking, media planning, and creative development.
- Strong analytical mindset tied to CAC, LTV, and EBITDA impact.
- Excellent communication and influence skills across C-suite, GMs, agencies, and field teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced marketing training preferred.
